Back from the Keys
Got back from a week in the keys and had a good time when some snorkeling for lobster and fishing the backcountry for tarpon, bonefish, permit and barracuda.

Better Bite Coming Off New Moon
With the extreme heat this past week, the bite has been starting early and ending early in the morning. The trout bite has been strong. These fish are being caught deep using live pigfish.

Water Temps Heating Up
We are definitely in a summer heat wave here in the Central Florida area with daily highs in the mid to upper 90s. The water temps have increased as well, making the bite a little slower due to the warmer waters. That does not mean the bite has stopped we just have to focus on the cooler parts of the days Luke the early mornings or late evenings.

Beaches Clearing Up
The beaches have started to clear up from the grass and the fish are chewing. Early morning and evenings have been the best times, with good numbers of pompano being caught and large whiting.
