Trolling Frozen Minnows
We were able to get out right before the cool front came in. Live bait was tough to find so we reverted to slow trolling frozen minnows over Pelican Reef and the results were pretty good.

Capt. Chris is the proud owner & operator of Fired Up Fishing Charters out of Port Canaveral in Cocoa Beach, Florida.

We only got out one day this week, but it was good, both boats did very, very well. We ended up with six sailfish between the two boats and a pile of kingfish so, as I stated, the fishing was very good.
Offshore has been good to us. We are catching kingfish on the 8A in good numbers and there are some blackfin tuna and sailfish mixed in.
What a week of fishing! We were able to do a bit of everything. Go deep for the tilefish, we caught them between 500 and 600 feet. Definitely had to bow the kings this week, they were on fire on 8A reef.
The one day we were able to get offshore last week was actually really good. The reefs are holding good numbers of kingfish right now along with a few mahi scattered in.
The bottom fishing has been pretty consistent overall. We are catching lots of lane snapper along with good numbers of triggerfish with the occasional cobia mixed in.
The bottom fishing out of Port Canaveral has been solid! Cobia, lane snapper and big triggerfish are all being caught right now.
Captains Joe and Dylan from Fired Up Charters have continued to keep their clients on some quality fish. King fishing has been very productive but so has been targeting the bottom. They are catching lane snapper, triggerfish and cobia in good numbers which makes for some fun catching and great eating!
The fishing has been insane for the customers of Fired Up Charters this past week.
The fishing was good for Capt. Dylan at Fired Up Charters. He put his customers on some great fish. Cobia and kingfish were caught with a surprise blackfin tuna. Looks like we should get some good weather this week to get back out there!
Even dinosaurs are getting in on the snapper action!
The Fired Up Charters crew just crushed it during the opening of Snapper Season out of Port Canaveral. Hitting snapper limits on every trip, but also some really nice bonus fish, too.
Lots of Big King action aboard the ???? Fire Fight with Capt Joe, showing an awesome group from Maine a good time and putting some stud Kings in the box.
Capt. Joe had a great day with clients aboard the Fired Up!
Another Stellar day aboard the ???? Fire Fight with Capt. Joe for this wwesome group catching Mahis, 4 Cobia, a Limit of 12 Kings and Baracuda.
Decent fishing last night on the Seas Fire! Been a while since we could fish so it was nice seeing them wanting to chew on our return to the sea.
Solid nearshore fishing from the Seas Fire boat. Handful of big bull reds are keeping the rods bent!
Guess what’s for dinner tonight?
Catching some nice dolphin with Fired Up Charters!
Red Snapper are biting like crazy!
