Fishable Ocean Produces BIG!
OH MAN, what a week and I’m finally excited to talk about fishing once again. The wind has gone and the ocean is now fishable. She showed us her plentiful bounty all week long.

It was a good week. Unfortunately, it was a quick, good weather week, so only a few days offshore. The end is in sight, though. Wind forecast seems to let off.
Basically a repeat of the last month or two. We went out 2 days this week. The wind has just been so bad making it unsafe. It’s not worth it. We all hope to just have a few more weeks till we get some summer calm days.
I wish these reports were every two weeks right now. I can’t tell you if it’s good or bad because we can’t get out there. The damn wind. It’s every day….. Show up and see and cancel…. I will say grouper season opened up with 30 knots, so thats typical… Maybe next year.
As you all may already know, We had 30 plus knots of wind for the last week. This report will not be helpful but truthful. We fished offshore one day. After a week of blow, you can only assume that the fishing was not all that great. Small stringers of fish and that was all. The ocean is still pretty angry and dirty. Give it a few days and we will be right back at it.
We had a pretty decent week on the few fishable days. Just goes to show the fish are there when we can get out. If you haven’t looked at the offshore forecast yet — don’t — it’s pretty sad.
What a nice week we finally had! Mother nature gave us a few solid days offshore to do what it is we do. And boy oh boy did we get into it. Solid runs to the reef and back for all the amazing king mack maniacs out there.
Not much to write about this week. Here’s what we had to work with: 20 plus mph winds all week — some west, some east. The entire ocean was pea soup. We couldn’t get offshore at all, seas were trashed and it just wasn’t safe. We stuck to the nearshore trips and we caught nothing.
Well, not a great week offshore. Weather once again served as an obstacle to get out, and if you look at the upcoming forecast, we are looking to be landlocked yet another week.
What a week! A very good start to March as far as fishing goes out of the Port. We had a few great days on the days that the wind allowed us to get out. Weather has us landlocked once again for a few days coming up, though.
Even dinosaurs are getting in on the snapper action!
The Fired Up Charters crew just crushed it during the opening of Snapper Season out of Port Canaveral. Hitting snapper limits on every trip, but also some really nice bonus fish, too.
Lots of Big King action aboard the ???? Fire Fight with Capt Joe, showing an awesome group from Maine a good time and putting some stud Kings in the box.
Capt. Joe had a great day with clients aboard the Fired Up!
Another Stellar day aboard the ???? Fire Fight with Capt. Joe for this wwesome group catching Mahis, 4 Cobia, a Limit of 12 Kings and Baracuda.
Decent fishing last night on the Seas Fire! Been a while since we could fish so it was nice seeing them wanting to chew on our return to the sea.
Solid nearshore fishing from the Seas Fire boat. Handful of big bull reds are keeping the rods bent!
Guess what’s for dinner tonight?
Catching some nice dolphin with Fired Up Charters!
Red Snapper are biting like crazy!
