What a great week we’ve had once again. Mother nature was nice to us and let us fish every day. Bunker has been fairly steady from the north tip to the Brown condos. It’ll be somewhere there. But again don’t leave home without a box of minnows. That may save your day.
No special secrets. 8A a has been pretty good and you could pretty much make a full day out of trolling and Bottom fishing on that reef. A few of the guys did go south to Pelican and did just fine there, too. Only difference was a few miles longer drive. Species included sailfish, kings, mahi and a few random Cobia. Bottom fishing these reefs produced triggerfish, Lane snappers, red snapper and of course, big sharks.
