Good Week of Fishing the Beach
Good week of fishing the beach. The bait has been hit or miss and very inconsistent. Inshore bite has been a bit slow but there’s a few fish that are still hungry.
Flounder Showing up at Inlet
ishing has picked up somewhat, not fantastic, but good enough to keep you interested and hopeful to catch something. Water clarity has improved on the incoming tides and the beginning of the outgoing tides, and it has warmed up again.

Water temps are 84 to 90 water levels are down but afternoon rains are becoming a pattern. Early morning topwater has been fair to good and worms, spinnerbaits, chatterbaits rattletraps and jerkbaits all good due to bluegill and shad spawns.
Feeling the Heat
The temperatures have not lightened up here in Central FL with highs in the mid and high 90’s for the past couple of weeks. The nice thing is the bite has not lightened up as well.
Dirty Water Slows Inlet Bite
This week's report is going to be another one of those short and to the point ones, as the fishing was really very slow all over the inlet, mostly due to the dirty/silted up water conditions, and the "snot weed" that was present everywhere and made it hard to keep your lines and rigs clean.

Seaweed with a chance of fish
The week was filled with seaweed, making it hard to keep a clear hook and bait for the fish to see. However, the seaweed slowly moved in close to the shoreline, allowing for longer casts to stay free of weeds.
Decent Results on the Beach
We had a good week of nice weather to fish the beach with decent results. There's been a few small schools of big jacks and tarpon moving through but the bite has been hit or miss.
