Fishing remains red-hot as we transition into summer! While familiar cooler water spots may not be producing like they used to, there are plenty of fish to be found. Focus on mangrove shade, dock structures, and shallow flats where fish are feasting on mullet schools. I recently landed a beauty of a snook (pictured above) after I spotted it crushing a school of mullet along the mangroves – and hooked up quickly after casting my lure. Top performers include Spook Jr, small paddle tails, and Kicker CrabZ worked slowly on the bottom. With a rainy forecast ahead, get ready for a potential game-changer!
