Take A Kid Fishing…
Nothing is more rewarding than a big ole smile on a kids face after catching a fish. Whether a half pound Bluegill or hundred-pound Tarpon, it really doesn’t matter to them. I have been fortunate over the years to take part in days such as these.
Actions Remains Slow at Inlet
Good morning, all my fishing friends and family! I hope everyone had a great weekend. The weather was nice, but extremely hot. This week is supposed to be likely the same: hot temps, west breezes, and calm seas.
Heat Forcing Early Start
The inshore bite has been going super early this last week due to extremely hot temps with water temps climbing to the 90 degree mark. However, in the early morning, the bite has been okay with some snook and trout in the mix, as well as a few redfish and jacks on occasion.
Tarpon Abundance
The trout bite has been very good as of late, with the majority being caught on live pig fish. Tarpon are abundant up and down the beaches, as well as in ICW will eat a readily placed mullet or a croaker placed in front of them.
Stick Marsh & Headwaters Bass Fishing
We are still catching some great fish on artificial baits and live bait. Top baits for me this week were Zman Jackhammer half ounce, Mike Bucca BullGill, Mike Bucca 4x4 and 4x4 deep, Zoom Ole Monster worms and Senkos.
Georgia Wild Trout July Fly Fishing Report
Summer seems to be here to stay. Time to escape the heat and head for the headwaters and small trout streams of North Georgia. The dry fly bite has been excellent but droppers have still been needed following the scattered showers. Trout can be caught on a myriad of flies [...]

Saltwater Change Up
I spent a couple of days giving the freshwater fishing a break and hit the Lagoon for a change up. My intentions were to leave the dock in the dark before the sun came up so to be in the spot I wanted to fish and hopefully get a snook on a topwater bite.
Headwaters report
Been finding good fish over 8 lbs. Early morning topwater is good one day and ok othets. They are always a sucker for trivkworms and flukes if topwater is slow As sun goes up we go deep and are chasing bait balls and bigger bass Deep crankbaits bouncing bottom has [...]
Lake Ivanhoe Kayak Fishing
This week I am diving back into urban Orlando, kayak Bass fishing. This is something that I have started to really enjoy doing for a couple of reasons, chief amongst them is I’ve had nothing but enjoyable fishing experiences to this point.
Fussy Fish this time of Year
We’ve slammed up against the full moon in June and the fish are being fussy like they get every year around this time...
Good Week Running the Beaches
Another week running the beaches with nice calm seas and a west wind. Bait has been scarce and so are the gamefish. We’ve been finding small schools of bait that have been holding some fish all g with schools of jacks and a few bonito here and there.
