The Conway Chain – Little Lake Conway
This week I embarked on an adventure to fish a new chain of lakes for the first time ever, the Conway Chain in Orlando, so without further adu, let us jump right on in.
Exploring the Loxahatchee River
I took the show on the road this past weekend and explored previously unchartered waters, and it is a place I have been wanting to fish for sometime… South Florida’s beautiful Loxahatchee River! Let’s dive in!
Camp Mack on the Kissimmee River
Camp Mack is a place steeped in history and tradition, and today serves as a remote outpost surrounded by thousands of acres of great Bass fishing, and serves as a great vacation destination for those that pursue a variety of nature pursuits.
Kayak Fishing: Navigating Wacky Winter Weather in Central Florida
This week instead of talking about a "spot" to kayak fish, I am going to talk about how to navigate through, and catch fish during the wacky wintertime weather patterns that we have been getting. Let’s dive in!
Pelican Island NWR (Part II)
This week I am going to talk once again about the Pelican Island National Wildlife Refuge - but from a different launching point, and on the north end of this federally protected area
Kayak Fishing (in Inclement Weather) – Pelican Island NWR
What a weekend we just had weather wise, sheesh. If you are reading this and are sane, then you probably stayed indoors and safely out of the borderline tropical storm conditions that bore down on us this past weekend. But if like me, you show signs of increasing mental instability when it comes to making decisions when it comes to fishing, you may have made a run at going anyway.
Kayak Fishing: Banana River (Kelly Park – Merritt Island)
This past weekend I fished a part of the Banana River I have never fished before on the west side of Merritt Island, just south of the 528 Causeway. I have to say, for a new spot I was pleased with how it went. Let’s dive in!
Kayak Fishing: Kayaks by Bo/Old Town TopWater 120 PDL Review
In the spirit of gratitude and Thanksgiving I am going to talk today about Kayaks by Bo, Inc - located right along US Highway 1, and backed up to the Indian River Lagoon in Titusville.
Kayak Fishing: Better Fishing at Stick Marsh
o a few weeks ago I went out to the Stick Marsh, my first time since the drawdown, and it was a bit of a struggle. I didn’t catch many fish, and the ones I did catch were small. I wanted to go back out before I made any rash comments or assumptions about the effects of the drawdown, and I am glad I did, because I had a good outing there this weekend.

Stick Marsh Kayak Fishing
I had a chance to on Sunday, I made my first trip to Stick Marsh since before the draw down. I have been there since Christmas time last year, and to be honest, it really wasn’t my day! Due to my lack of success, and limited time on the water over the weekend, this will not be a very long report.
Kayak Fishing: Horseshoes & Hand-Grenades in Melbourne
I was a little squeezed for time this weekend, my football team won again Friday - we’re currently 7-2, and having already defeated Holy Trinity we have our last regular season game this week, and with a win will lock up a district title and home field advantage for the round of 16 playoff game.
Headwaters Lake Kayak Fishing
I was able to get out on Sunday morning and fish for a few hours at Headwaters Lake. I have recently had two inquiries about fishing in this area, so this seemed like a timely report to come out with!
Father-Son Fishing: Melbourne
So we have found us a great spot for inshore fishing from land, Kiwanis Park at Geiger Point located at the base of the Melbourne Causeway (192) right there in downtown Melbourne. This is a good spot for several reasons.
Kayak Fishing East Lake Toho
There are a couple of different places you can launch from if you are interested in kayaking East Lake Toho, and over time I will certainly go back and explore other parts of the lake.
