WEEKLY FORECAST
6.22.2021 – 6.28.2021
A CENTRAL FLORIDA FISHING FORECAST EVERY TUESDAY
Mark Coomber landed this 51 lb. kingfish while throwing small soft plastic baits to tarpon is less than 15 ft. of water while fishing with Capt. Glyn Austin of Going Coastal Charters out of Sebastian. Epic catch without a doubt!
It’s Tarpon Time on the Space Coast and our nearshore waters are teaming with life. Tarpon, jacks, sharks and the occasional cobia and smoker king are all species we should expect to see over the next month or so. Include snook and a recent uptick in pompano this week from the surf, and it appears the beach is the place to be! Oh, and please give the sea turtles some privacy while you’re out there — they are working hard right now to ensure future generations continue to call our beaches home.
