WEEKLY FORECAST
3.17.2020 – 3.23.2020
A CENTRAL FLORIDA FISHING FORECAST EVERY TUESDAY
Instead of watching the Noles dominate the NCAA postseason, this diehard FSU fan had to settle for slaying bluefish in the Melbourne Beach surf.
With no March Madness (congrats to the Noles for taking home the 2020 National Championship), St. Patty’s Day festivities cancelled, local schools shuttered, and toilet paper hard to come by, the one thing that makes sense in the world right now is fishing. Fishing is conveniently pretty good this week, and it also just so happens to be a great way to practice social distancing…

WEATHER OVERVIEW: With all of the fear around COVID-19 it was nice to see so many folks taking advantage of the beautiful weather this past weekend and getting out on the water. What better place to escape and take in some sunshine and fresh air. This week is shaping up to be another nice one with high temps is the low 80’s and mostly sunny with low rain chances. Tuesday & Wednesday, the wind will be lower and out of the E. Thursday the wind will shift out of the SE and pick up some through Friday. Saturday it will drop back down as we reach the weekend. This will offer up many opportunities to target multiple species this week. Similar to last week, we had good reports from the lagoon, surf, inlets and offshore so we should expect to see that continue this week. The Brevard County School Board officially announced all students will be out of school until March 30th, so take advantage of the kids being out for the next two weeks, go fishing, and make some great memories!
