Today's report goes back to last weekend, where I made my first Tarpon specific trip of the year, to one of East Central Florida’s most famous Tarpon fisheries, the St. Sebastian River.
St. Sebastian River – Easter Weekend
I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter weekend! When I set out to fish/write the Easter weekend report I felt it was only right to fish the St. Sebastian River. Interesting fact on nomenclature, the inlet on the other side of the Indian River Lagoon is called Sebastian Inlet.

So this week, I am really excited to talk about what might be my favorite way to kayak fish here on the Space Coast – “Creek Fishing”. I am talking about the Eau Gallie River & Elbow Creek, St. Sebastian River, Crane Creek, Turkey Creek, Goat Creek, Horse Creek (lot’s of generic animal creeks).

At the end of every class period on Friday I talk to my students about the upcoming weekend, I tell them fun thing my family and I plan on doing, I hear from them etc. My 7th period U.S. History class has a few young men that like to talk fishing, and they know I love Snook and Tarpon, and Largemouth Bass.
