This past weekend was another good week of catching even had a couple days of slams in the mix. The trout and redfish have been chewing well with the occasional snook and black drum making an appearance. We have a great amount of bait covering the backwaters of New Smyrna Beach and on the flats of Mosquito Lagoon. It looks as though this week we could have a little unstable weather with some breezy conditions so we will definitely be using the wind to our advantage. Next week looks like it should be getting back to normal with our standard afternoon thunderstorms and hot summer temps.
