The Stick Marsh bite this past week was tough fishing. The winds played havoc on where you had to fish and also put the bass in a FUNKY mood. The one lure that created most of the bites we had was dragging a Texas Rigged soft stick worm on the shell beds of the lake. Best color choice was the Junebug colors. I spoke to a guy in the parking lot yesterday where he chose to fish the south end of the Farm in the high winds and paid a high price by hitting one of the many stumps in that area and snapping off the shaft of his trolling motor.
