With absolutely gorgeous weather, surf fishing was simply as good as it gets this past week. Spread out over three days in Melbourne Beach, we were fishing mostly incoming tide in the afternoons, baited up with fleas and Fish bites. Had a good mix of variety in catches and all the fish were chewing. Filled the cooler with bull whiting one day, and caught some really nice sized pompano, and released a number of little ones, over the course of outings. Sheeps were also in the mix, and I gotta say, their bait thievery game was on point.
