Inshore fishing is still really good, however the window to catch is short. Pre dawn bite is best and bite slows to a crawl once the sun comes up and the heat gets firing. Snook and trout mainly but there are a few reds to be found on live or cut bait.

Nearshore is still slow. there has been a bunch of bait tight to the beach south but there hasn’t been much in it. Some small tarpon as well as a few jacks, cudas and small sharks. Dirty and cold water isn’t helping the nearshore bite at all. Consistent weather and water temps will help the situation. This weeks forecast looks pretty good so hopefully the water will clean up and get the bait off the beach and fire up the bite.
