Wow was it cold this past week. This will be a short report for me since I didn’t get out of my heavy fleece ware until Saturday. I did manage to wet a line on Stick Marsh that day but boy was it painfully slow for bites. Water temperatures were 58 at the ramp and never got warmer than 62 by mid afternoon time. Several people I talked to that came in around the same time that we did had similar stories. We managed to catch three bass that somehow thawed out enough to eat our lures. All I can say is when we have a substantial warming of our waters it should really be a great bite.
