We have high and clear water and still have a good amount of bait around which has had the redfish and trout very active so sight fishing should be on fire the next few weeks.

This is one of my favorite times of year to fish with hungry fish looking to eat as much as they can before the colder months. We should start to see schools of redfish as the water gets lower but for now we have lots of them cruising shorelines along the islands and laying up in sand holes of the grass flats. This is a great time for throwing artificial baits and flies.
