It was a good week fishing inshore and nearshore. We are still on a good trout bite inshore on artificial and, the pompano bite got better after this last cold front last week. We have been getting pompano on the flats as well as in the inlet and off the beach. Snook bite has still been slow for me inshore but the number of trout and the solid action from jacks, bluefish and mackerel has kept our anglers very busy and having a great time on the water. Nearshore has been the same, plenty of mackerel, jacks and some blacktip and spinner sharks have been around. We have also been seeing some Manta Rays on the tideline but nothing on them. The warmer weather should heat up the bite this week and maybe get the snook fired up inshore.
