The bite continues to be good on the Mosquito Lagoon and nearby waters. We are still seeing a good number of bait pods both north in the New Smyrna Beach area along with the shallow grass flats of Mosquito Lagoon. The bait of choice has been a variety of baits from artificial like soft plastics, spoons and plugs to live shrimp, pinfish and finger mullet. We have had a break from the afternoon storms this week but looks like we could be getting some scattered showers toward the end of the week.
