sebastian snook fishing

Makayla and Maverick had a great time with Makayla getting a quality inshore slam of Snook, Redfish and Trout!

More good inshore fishing with plenty of snook, redfish, trout and jacks. Live bait has been best but the topwater action is still decent if you are around any bait pod. The paddle tails seem to work the best for soft plastics as the water is very dirty from all of the rain and the vibration from the paddle tail helps them find the bait. Rapala twitchin mullet has been a good bait as well inshore.

The big jacks looking for mullet schools have been eating regardless of live bait or artificial with poppers working well. There are a bunch of tarpon inshore but we haven’t been messing with them as we were able to get out on the beach a couple days and get some tarpon action. Bait pods are still thin and spotty with very few mullet schools for this time of year.
