Beach fishing was very good last week and the inlet was pretty hot as well. Plenty of tarpon and sharks along the beaches around Sebastian with a lot of blacktip and black nose sharks. We were able to get some bigger tarpon on live mullet as well as lures and the sharks were mainly on live bait however, we did get one or two on soft plastics. Inlet fishing was pretty good with some redfish as well as plenty of jacks to keep us busy. The inshore bite is improving as the water temp dropped 6-8 degrees to low to mid 80s due to the rain as well as cooler temps from our shorter days and overcast skies. Redfish, snook and trout on artificial as well as plenty of jacks too. Early morning has been best but the midday bite is improving also.

The mullet schools should get thicker the coming weeks as they start migrating out of the creeks and south on their annual migration. The beach fishing and the lagoon fishing should keep improving over the next few weeks.
