We are finding pogies in the bite early. It’s been tough to get them but they are there. We have been catching them more up towards the tip. The reef is doing great with kingfish, we’ve had a consistent bite for a while now. There have been quite a few scattered cobia caught as well. Most of them are shorts. We have witnessed a handful of rays around too. It’s been exciting to have some mahi in the mix as well. Not a lot, but it’s always nice to bring one or two home. We haven’t bottom fished much at all, or chicken-rigged for that matter. I would expect another 3/4 weeks until that starts to really heat up.
