We have started to get a little rain here in the New Smyrna Beach area which has definitely helped our drought conditions. The recent rains and wind has also stirred the waters up south through Mosquito Lagoon making for some dirtier water quality, which has made sight fishing difficult. However, structure fishing has been a fine alternative. Focusing on bars, points and ledges have been providing a great bite. Live bait and artificials have both been working great.
