flounder

The cooler water temperatures this week have increased the mullet run back to a fairly steady flow along the coast line. This is bringing us a new “wave” of fish along the beaches. Among these are tripletail, ladyfish, bluefish, Spanish mackerel, whiting, redfish, flounder and pompano. This continued drop in temps should increase the numbers of these fish species in 3 to 4-weeks as well for you guys and gals looking to hook something with us in early December. Bull reds will also start to show up in the near coastal waters in much better numbers but they usually hang out a little farther offshore the 20 to 40-foot depths. Snook will stay open until December 15 and flounder open up on December 1st if you are into inviting one home for dinner.

If you want to get hooked up with any of these great tasting species, give us a call so that we can get you out to catch some. 321-505-8217 is the best number to reach us at or you can book your charter right on our interactive website reservation page with real time booking information at Finelinecharters.com It is the last portion of the mullet run so let’s go get your rod bent!
