This cold weather has really jump started fishing in the Mosquito Lagoon. We’re seeing large schools of redfish and black drum as well as groups of snook around shallow docks. For the redfish and black drum, a small shrimp or crab fly works really well. For spinning tackle, a naked hook or an 1/8-ounce jig head tipped with a shrimp we’ll get the job done.
