This past week has been a little on the breezy side making it a little challenging on the sight fishing but challenge expected. We have been doing well on redfish, snook and trout and it looks as though the weather is going to continue through this week so I do not see the bite changing. The bait has worked its way from the creeks out to the shallows and the redfish and trout have followed. The snook are still hanging in the deeper water around structure throughout the New Smyrna Beach waters. Live shrimp, cut bait and finger mullet have been working well along with a variety of artificials. The extended forecast looks good coming into next week which will only increase the bite.
