Had a great trip inshore this week, however the bite was early and shut off around 9:00 due to water temps. We caught some snook and jacks around the spoil islands during first light early in the morning. Live bait is what we used but artificial will work early as well. Beach water temps have warmed a bit, and the fish have been more active. Tarpon and jacks have been a bit more productive and plentiful, and the sharks are back and willing to eat live baits and dead baits I assume as well. Water is very clean and clear and artificial bite has been tough but works early am.
