Trout fishing continues to be very good with many larger over 20 inch fish being caught in the Mosquito Lagoon mostly using pigfish. We’re seeing groups of tailing redfish on the grass edges of the shallow flats. Large schools of Spanish mackerel and bonita have been running the beaches and can be caught using a small drone spoon. The mullet run should be kicking off anytime now. Look for large schools of mullet along the beach getting crushed by tarpon, jacks and kingfish.
