I found a small creek off the IRL south of Melbourne Beach recently, it was tight, but had a deeper muddy bottom. The water was stagnant and wasn't moving at all, the canal/creek ran east-west and the wind was blowing out of the south that day. The Juvie Tarpon were rolling, so I took out my micro set up and worked the whole canal. I caught two Juvie Tarpon, hung 4 more and caught 7 small Snook. Not trophy fishing by any means but a lot of fun to explore some back waters in a kayak and catch these fish on extra light tackle.
