Winter fishing season is in full swing here in Central Florida. Along our beaches we are seeing more schools of fish moving into the cooler waters. Pompano, whiting, drum, bluefish and Spanish mackerel to name a few. A simple Frisky Fins pompano rig or Pompano Rich rigs with some fresh shrimp or clam tipped with fish gum has been my go to bait selections for surf fishing. Our fishery will continue to put out great numbers of fish through the spring so get out there and wet some lines!

Sebastian inlet has picked up a little bit with this cooler weather coming. Flounder, snook and red drum are still being caught on live bait drifting the jetties. Finger mullet, live spots and mud minnows have been the key to getting the bites.

We have been very busy at Riggs Outpost providing the best bait, tackle and rod selection in 321 so go check us out.
