Juvenile bonefish and juvenile permit we caught on the flats while jigging for pompano.
Despite the cold weather, we had some great fishing last week. We caught a lot of those trout, plenty of Pompano, as well as Jack and ladyfish and plenty of big bluefish fishing around the flats and off the beach where there’s plenty of bait.
The winds are finally laid down and so the seas so get off the beach for Pompano, mackerel and bluefish won’t be a struggle this week. The Blacktip sharks should be showing up as well feeding on the macs, jacks and blues.
