snook

DJ with a nice overslept snook he caught on a DOA Jerk Bait while visiting his dad!

Warm weather is here for the week as are some light winds out of the west most of the week. Good time to get offshore and nearshore. With the warmer temps the cobia should be offshore as well as Snapper and Kingfish.

The nearshore bite should find plenty of mackerel jacks and bluefish with the blacktip and spinner sharks not too far behind. If you’re lucky, you may be able to find the big jack crevalle and have some incredible topwater action.

Inshore has been pretty good lately with the warmer weather. We’ve been getting a lot of jacks, trout and some decent snook all of DOA jerk baits as well as the rapala subsurface baits.
