The water is low in the lagoon right now but there are plenty of trout, snook and some jacks along the mangrove shorelines where the water is a little deeper. Paddle tail baits are the best bet with the dirty water but artificial or live shrimp will work as well. The inlet bite has been a little slow in the daytime with the super moon but should be excellent at night on live bait or bucktails. The beach has a lot of bait and plenty of bluefish and some jacks and pompano mixed in. Jigs will work for Pompano and the other species but Sand Fleas are your best bet if the Pompano are what you are after. The bait schools along the beach outside Sebastian Inlet should have some bonito, Mackerel and sharks mixed in as well.
