I fished 3 Forks and Stick Marsh last week. One was better than the other, but the bite was tough, to say the least. I believe it could be a transitional time of year for the fish to start their moves to possibly the areas they may spawn at.
We boated 18 bass on the Stick Marsh and most were on the smaller side with the exception of a respectable 4-5 pounder which was caught in the SW area of the farm side of the lake.
3 Forks was very disappointing to say the least. The western area looks like a few small spots may have an algae bloom of sorts happening.
All in all, the better days are coming for us once the fish have acclimated to their areas until the end of spring.
