Got out Saturday morning for a little while, leaving from Big Toho Marina. I went to the left instead of straight out and started fishing the reeds, grass and pads on the right before having to turn right to make your way down the lake. I was throwing a weightless Yum Dinger in green pumpkin with a chartuse tail just inside the vegetation and they bite just as it got into clear water. Some bites were subtle and others were quite strong. All fish seemed to take it and move off with it, either towards the boat or along the grass line. I caught 9 total, twice on back to back casts, most in the pound in a half to 2lbs. I had 3 in the boat by 610 and was off the water just before 9am. I also got one one a Zoom Original Speed worm, has a paddle tail, in watermelon seed on a weighted hook. After the sun got up a little bit the bite fell off and had to throw up into the lily pads to catch the last few. A good day.
Nice day. 9 fish before 9AM.
Thanks, It was the only time I had to get out as my wife needed her truck to do her stuff. I was just glad to get out for a while
Good fishing my man!
