This week’s Space Coast fishing report, honestly not a whole lot has changed over the past couple weeks, and that’s been a good thing.
We’re still seeing a strong presence of snook, trout, and redfish, with some tarpon showing up as well. The bite has been steady across the board, and with water temps sitting in a comfortable range, you don’t have to be locked into any specific time of day just yet. Fish have been active throughout.
I’ve still been doing a fair amount of night fishing, but daytime trips are producing just as well right now.
Artificial presentations continue to get it done. 3 to 4 inch paddle tails, flukes, artificial shrimp, and topwaters are all working. No need to switch over to live bait at this point.
Overall, it’s been consistent fishing with a solid mix of species around. Not a lot has changed, so if you’ve been on a pattern lately, there’s no real reason to switch it up.
