Fishing was productive this week, with consistent action across the board.
Most of my time was spent fishing mangrove shorelines and docks from the kayak, which continues to produce as the water warms up.
Snook fishing was solid, with a few quality fish mixed in. Trout were more consistent, with good numbers and a couple nicer ones in the mix. There are also plenty of jacks schooling up right now, and they’ve been aggressive when you find them.

I also got into a few tripletail this week, which is a good sign as things continue to warm.
Most fish came on 3–4” paddle tails, with some action on topwater early and late, and artificial shrimp mixed in.
Overall, the river is warming up and the bite is getting more consistent.
