Stick Marsh and Headwaters are fishing really well right now. The strong north winds limited where we could fish the past couple days so a few of my spots we had to abandon some great fish.
Stick Marsh is really good mid morning till dark. We were catching them on Carolina rigged lizards (green pumpkin and Black/Red) 8”. Natural tone worms and Bass Assassin Vapor Shad’s also worked in Houdini color. Silver half ounce traps with a blue back also worked.
Headwaters was fishing great on topwater and chatterbaits for us this week. Andrew Mixon Boneshaker in black and blue or the gold blade one worked for us. Spooks and the Draveusa Guerrero in 90mm did the job on topwater. The Mike Bucca 8” Bull Glide and a prototype bait in Gizzard Shad caught the larger fish.
