Top baits for me this week were Zman Jackhammer half ounce, Mike Bucca BullGill and Trikshad, Bass Assassin RSB worms and Snagproof Smashmouth frog.

My clients are catching most of their fish on Bass Assassin RSB worms in Gooseberry. Fish these in deep water using a 3/8oz weight and a 6/0 EWG hook. I have been Carolina rigging these along deep grass edges. You can find all these fine worm at bassassassin.com

The Jackhammer was one of my top producers again this week. I was using the Hogfarmer Spunk Shad as a trailer. (Jackhammer Gold Shiner and Hogfarmer Spunk Shad TN Magic). The black and blue with a Zako black/blue trailer has also worked for us. Right Garrett C. Vick!!!

Our big fish came on the Mike Bucca Bullgill. I’m slowly reeling them and getting them well under the surface and the trikshad I’m working it very slow around bait balls.
