Well, the date that all Floridians wait for if you’re an angler is here September 1. Snook season is open and it started off with a bang here in East Central Florida with heavy winds at the north east post hurricane. Tarpon are scattered throughout the river with the mullet run is in full affect. Trout and redfish can be caught using top waters around the edge of the mullet schools or using pigfish or croakers. It’s a great time if you want to tarpon fish on the East Coast and I have Days open throughout the next couple of months.
