The bite in the lagoon and inlet was a little slow for me this week, which I attribute in part to the high-pressure on these fisheries right now. Nearshore, where we’ve been able to put much more distance between ourselves and other boats, the bite has been pretty good. We’ve been catch a lot of tripletail, a variety of snapper, king mackerel, jack crevallel, bonito and small sharks. Live greenies are the most effective baits for the Kingfish and snapper, while shrimp has been working especially well for Snapper and Tripletail.

Inshore was rough for me as well, but at least you got some near shore. Nothing wrong with your variety of fish, still sounds really active. Great report.
