Winds stayed strong all week making fishing the beach impossible. The river stayed calm in most coves and there were plenty of places to get out of the wind. Plenty of trout around the bait pods with some jacks and ladyfish mixed in. A few snook and redfish along the mangroves were finicky about artificial baits and live baits were the key. Topwaters work well early and later moving to soft plastics.
We may have a small window mid week to get outside then the winds and seas will be big again.
