Hey, what’s going on everybody? It’s Rio from Eastside Surf Fishing. Pompano fishing continues as the weather remains good for these fish. We had a little bit of a bump last week with the blow/swell but the conditions look great for Pompano fishing this week Pompano we’re going to be looking for live, sand, fleas, live shrimp or life clams. However, if you can’t get your hands on these baits, it’s not a bad idea to try frozen.
I’ve been catching pompano on FishGuman artificial bait that has hormones and scents added that is sure to “Excite the Strike,” so if you can’t get natural bait this is a great option. If fishing live bait or pieces of fresh bait I will tip my rigs with a piece of fishgum for additional insurance on those long casts.
The fish are around, and the season is going well. Get out and catch them up!
