Another week of inshore fishing with plenty of bait and fish around. Slot sized reds and snook were decent with some juvenile tarpon along the shorelines around the bait pods. Big trout around the bait pods on many areas as well. DOA soft plastics worked well on the trout and a few redfish and snook with live bait being more productive on the snook. There were also plenty of jacks in the mix crushing g bait pods throughout the lagoon. Higher winds this week are gonna make it rougher fishing but with the bait pods around the fish will still be active unless the weekend rains hurt the water quality again.
