Beach tarpon for Lucas on his birthday trip!
The inshore bite is hit or miss and the mullet are showing up along the beaches. Some bait around but the water is dirty still from the late week rains last week. Small trout as well as a few snook, reds and jacks are along shorelines and spoil islands holding bait. Nearshore has calmed down later in the week with some tarpon, sharks and jacks along the beaches. The mullet have started running down the beaches as well in small schools and there are some snook in trough feeding on finger mullet as well.
