The water in the Mosquito Lagoon is not as high as expected nor as dirty. Their schools of large jacks and redfish are starting to school up. Keep an eye out for tailing redfish that can be caught with a well placed shrimp or a slow paddle tail. Early morning top water is working well. I’m still seeing some tarpon around as well as large schools of finger mullet which should last until we get a good strong cold front. The bite should be on fire! I have days available this month whether you want to tarpon fish or target inshore species such as redfish, trout, snook and black drum. Give me a call at 386-295-5991 or go right to my website www.fatfishguide.com.
