Chris’ Inshore Slam!
Hurricane Ian definitely put a damper on the amount of time spent fishing this week. We have already had a bunch of freshwater in the lagoon and Ian added a lot more. But, we have had a pretty good inshore bite the last few weeks. Snook, Redfish and trout along with plenty of jacks, ladyfish and a few catfish in the mix. Live baits and artificial have all been productive. Fishing the Rapala Skitterwalk around bait schools that are on the spoil islands have produced the most fish but the inlet and some shorelines have been very active as well.
Once the seas calm down we will get back outside and chase the snook, tarpon and sharks along the beaches.
