Got out Saturday morning for a few hours just in front of a local tournament, fishing along the edge of the grass, reeds and lily pads outside of Richardson Fish Camp. Had a good spot as 3 boats stopped along the way and a few slowed down until they saw me before moving on. Got a couple on a Yum Dinger in cranberry before moving over to Goblets Cove. Caught one out of the grass and missed a few as well. Moved into the Bird Island cove and got one and broke off after setting the hook. Time to go but I stopped back over outside of Richardson’s and got a 4lber out of the grass where I wanted to fish earlier but it had a boat in the area. Fished a few minutes more before heading home. Water temp was 64 and all fish came on the Yum Dinger in cranberry.
