Had another week of inconsistent bait patterns on the beach but we worked hard and got some good fish. Tarpon, Jacks, Bonito, Mackerel and Snapper. When we found the bait we could find some action but the bait has been moving day to day and is very inconsistent. Live bait is working for the tarpon as well as artificial but everything else we have been using soft plastics from DOA. Paddle tails and 4” jerkbaits have been the ticket.

Inshore has been a struggle with the dirty and HOT water. Rain from a few weeks ago has pushed too much fresh water into the lagoon and made it a tough bite. Its even hard to keep live bait alive for long periods of time.So we have been focusing our time in the inlet and along the beaches.
