The Pullias family had a good day tarpon fishing from Sebastian to Melbourne with some big fish landed.

The inshore bite has been going super early this last week due to extremely hot temps with water temps climbing to the 90 degree mark. However, in the early morning, the bite has been okay with some snook and trout in the mix, as well as a few redfish and jacks on occasion.

Nearshore, the bite has been super tough, as well, with the bait moving day to day. Some days its close to the beach, and others it’s been out in 40-50’ of water. When you can find the bait, we have been getting into some spinner sharks, jacks, bonito, kingfish snapper and some tarpon. Live bait has been best but artificial will work well if you can put in the time to learn the patterns of the fish.
