Shad spawn has triggered awesome early top water action. Small poppers twitch baits or bloop baits till 0830 to 0900. Bait then moves deeper and balls up for rattle trap jerk bait or swim jigs.
As always a dark worm or swim worm or fluke t rigged or drop shot.

Hell yeah man. Apparently now is the time. If you got a yak, it should be even better when they close the boat launch — june 10 – 20, I think — a lot less pressure on the fish.
